Thank you very much for your response – I don’t see where I can upload an image here without doing it somewhere else and adding a link. If you visit my site again, between the electrical posts on the righthand side of the image you’ll see a vertical line going through the photo. I’ve checked the actual image and it doesn’t have that so it must have something to do with the template. See what I mean?

***Update*** I figured out how to fix Question 2 by simply checking the “featured” box on the blog post! But I’m still unsure about Question 1 if anyone has any tips.
