Hi Anamaria,

I’m using the following code.

.td-pulldown-size {
    border-radius: 5px;
    font-size: 12px;
    font-weight: bold;
    height: 20px;
}

There are two problems:

How can I reach, that the text is vertical center?

And when I click on the header logo or refresh the site, the header elements loads in old design. After a half second the css is loading correctly. I have tested it on safari and chrome (desktop). Do you have an idea how I can fix that?

Let me show you the problem on a video: https://youtu.be/X4Jtj5VxB7E

Thank you and best regards
Andre

Hi Calin,

do you have new informations about the update?

Thank you and best regards
Andre

Hi Calin,

I have found the problem. It was the 3rd Party “Leap Speedup” from Ezoic. The option “remove unused css” caused the problem.

Hi Calin,

I have deactivated all plugins (expect TagDiv Composer) and cleared the cache, but that had no effect. The problem still occurs.

Sorry, the thread should be moved to Newsmag Forum.

Hi Calin,

after finish testing on a staging area I have found the very simple problem.

First I had updated the Theme, but without td-composer and td-social-counter. Then I got the error message and I wanted to solve this first . After updating both plugins it works fine.

Best regards
Andre

Hi Calin,

I’m setting up a staging environment actually. When finished I can test it “non productive” and if the error also occurs, we can analyze it better without heart attacks.

Hi Calin,

yesterday I’ve tested some things. But (I think) the solution was, that we had enabled the brotli compression on our cloudflare-cdn. But facebook cannot interpret that! Now we are using only gzip.

But, its curious: Why did it ever work before (with brotli)?

Same problem under newsmag 4.9

Hi Catalin,

thank you for your reply.

Yes, the latest version of the theme is Newsmag 4.7.

After publishing the next new version (for example 4.8) then it can be, that this version has some issues. Tagdiv will publish a new update with bugfixes and I get an email “Update available for Newsmag”.

But the updated (bugfixed) version has also the version number 4.8. It would be better, that this version has the version number 4.8.1. The number 4.8.1 does not necessarily have to be displayed on themeforest. But it would be a good practice, when the 4.8.1 would be shown in the readme of the downloaded newsmag package at least.

I hope you understand what I mean.

Best regards

Hi Catalin,

thank you for your quick reply. You are right, the issue was on the webserver. I’m using nginx and the following code fixed it:

location ~* \.(eot|ttf|woff|woff2)$ {
add_header Access-Control-Allow-Origin *;
}

I think the problem was the cache of wp_rocket.

Hi Catalin,

thank you for your response.

I have made a fresh install from scratch and Newsmag 4.2 works with WP 4.9.1 now.

Thanks Andre

I have tried to regenerate the thumbnails. But it didn’t work for me too.

Its strange: I updated to WordPress 4.9 (with Newsmag 4.1) and the images will be displayed in full size. After downgrading back to WordPress 4.8.2 the images are also displayed in full size. But after change the theme to classic and then back to Newsmag the images are okay.

Now, my problem is the same as before: I cannot update to WordPress 4.9. Newsmag 4.1 and 4.2 didn’t work for me.

Any help is welcome.
