Deleted Featured Post category - reply

Umm.. I was way over thinking this. If this happens to anyone else, the solution is very simple.

1. Create a new “Featured” category.
2. Under the Theme Panel, enable the “Hide” feature so that it isn’t displayed in other boxes.
3. Edit your main page’s featured grid to only filter from the “Featured” category.
4. Profit $$$

Silly me.
