Hey Vlad

I wrote the above post and instead of removing the whole post I made some adjustments. I had installed an older version of WPBakery plugin thinking I had to do so for the theme to work correctly. I deactivated the WPBakery plugin on a dev site and noticed that is did not affect the layout of the site.

I deactivated the WPBakery plugin on the live site and no change happened to the layout, because it looks like WPBakery is packed into the theme.
So I went ahead and removed the older WPBakery plugin from the installed plugin screen and when the plugin was removed the vulnerability issue also went away.

Bottom line is. Do not have a seperate plugin for WPBakery active when the Newspaper theme is in use. Because WPBakery is baked/integrated into the theme.

Which means the last comment and this comment is just meant as information for whomever comes across it. There is not actionable item for support to handle.
Meaning the issue can be closed.

Thanks for being there!

Hi
NB! I had a WPBakery plugin installed but not activated. I deleted the plugin and the vulnerability went away. The built in version into Newspaper works fine and gives no security problem.

ManageWP is showing a Vulnerability problem. Gives this message.

WPBakery Visual Composer v4.11.2
WPBakery Page Builder < 6.4.1 – Authenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)

I have updated the Newspaper theme to 10.3.9.1 in the backend of WordPress and expected WPBakery to also be updated to a version that does not contain a vulnerability problem.

When do you plan on updating WPBakery?
It is updated along with the theme.

Hi

How would I go about unsetting/removing specific social networks today?
The specific file mentioned above just shows the default aim, yim and jabber social networks. It would be good to go through the list and remove the ones that are not valid/in use for the users of our site.

The best solution would be under social networks in the theme panel to enable/disable the various links seen in the profile screen.

Another suggestion is to also be able hide all of the social networks one does not use. As the list is very long and it would be great to hide the ones not in use.
