I didn’t see a module thumb setting for displaying “full size” images in a WP gallery. I did remove the code as specified here http://screencast.com/t/mXRDOVcXS and they are displaying full size now without cropping. Just wondered if there was a way to do this so when the theme updates, I don’t have to remove the code again. Thanks.

I just upgraded to version 9 and am having the same issue. Removed the code, but there must have been an auto-update that overwrote it again. Is there a new way in 9 to stop my “full size” gallery images from being cropped???

O.K., it just started working. Maybe the delay had something to do with my hosting. Looks great – thanks for the fast response. I didn’t need to switch back to my old theme. Really glad I went with Newspaper. Thanks again.

I deleted the code but it didn’t change. Images are still cropped. I even tried viewing it in a browser that I hadn’t used to look at the site before in case it was in browser cache.

Yes, as you illustrate here: http://screencast.com/t/knYTb3jp7K the image dimensions are set to “full” and they used to fill up the entire post area proportionally. Now they are all being cropped as giant thumbnails. I tried deactivating all the plugins – didn’t work. Also just tried turning off all the the “Thumbs on module blocks” and didn’t work.
