I think i solved this? I turned off the top bar sign/login switch and now it goes to the default wordpress login screen.

I started to dig deeper as this code and clearing all cache on my side and the websites side didn’t change the colours.

I used google to cross reference this strange css var code I noticed. What it stated as I found photos was if a var code didn’t match up it would return transparent.

This is what I used to fix the problem.

Is this the same as Buddy Press? Because I said Buddy Press not BBPress the forums.

Here is the complication if you look at the home page the widget is showing the white on transparent.

However on the event page it shows it as normal.

This is a weird situation it is showing.

Even more weird is on the home page if I click “Customize” at the top it will show the correct purple background on the homepage. (As shown on the photos above. once I close “Customize” it goes back to the transparent background (On the homepage)

I have investigated and it does seem to work as long and I manually add the shortcode for the plugin per-post.

It is a great plugin and I know you already have a review system built into this theme.

this is mostly due to I need compare charts, affiliate links and user reviews and this plug-in has all this built in. Please consider compatibility for future releases.

Ah I see, I was using a laptop without a mouse wheel so I was getting frustrated without a scroll bar. I shall only make edits when at a desktop then.
