I found it. using your solution is exactly what I needed. Thanks for that.
But if I upgrade them theme, will this wipe-out? Do I have to copy this file to my childtheme?

I see td_module_single.php but not td_module_single_base.php

Hi Catalin,

Perhaps I wasn’t make it clear.

I would like to excluded “Article Inline Ads” in the post content in category “Special” meaning when the viewer read any articles belong to “special” category they should not see “Article Inline Ads”. But articles belongs to others category will see ads.

I hope this make better sense to you.
