Hello Catalin,

I’m not quite sure how to administer the shortcode using the custom ad 1 you mentioned. Could you please provide me more documentation or an example screenshot if you don’t mind?

Hello Catalin,

As always thanks. However, I’m already using inline ads.

I have some posts that are long, and some with only five paragraphs or less. Using inline ads doesn’t make it practical as it sets all ads to appear within a set number of paragraphs for all my posts.

This is why, I want to manually add a short code to these post instead of using the inline ad option.

I read the documentation you gave and the last part got my interest:

[shortcodes] – the spot will run do_shortcode() on the ad. Using shortcodes you can add adRotate ads to that spot.

How do you yo do this exactly?

My bad and you’re right! It’s header.php

Hello Bogdan,

The ads do not go away when applying the code. Additionally, it adds another ad on the header for all other pages.

Please advise. I think you meant 404.php and not header.php

Hello Catalin,

I understand. I am using the default wordpress comments.

So from my understanding based on your reply, the only way to have the comment box above the comments is to customize it. There is not problem to that. I just wanted to make sure all options have been reviewed properly before customization.

Furthermore, if you know of any comment plugins that can do this, I’ll all ears!

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. To confirm, I add

if(!is_404()){
echo td_global_blocks::get_instance('td_block_ad_box')->render(array('spot_id' => 'header'));
}
?>

anywhere into the 404.php to prevent ads appearing in the 404 page for the mobile plugin theme?

Thanks.

Btw, I have tried adding the custom css code to the custom code css in the mobile theme plugin but it doesn’t work.

Any ideas?

Hello Bogdan,

This works for 404 pages on desktop and the responsive versions. How do I implement this for the mobile plugin theme?

Thank you again.

Thank you and I understand your case.

Maybe you can add an option for this in the ad section in the future. This problem can only resort with me, but it seems that I get some accidental clicks on the bottom ads esp. when using pagination and this is why I ask. I have some really loooooong posts and I like using pagebreaks whenever necessary.

All in all you guys are the pros and know where best to optimize for ad placement. I’ll stick with the default to make it less of a hassle.

Thank you again.

Bogdan, Thank you for this.

Will I have to always add this for every update?

crazydiver

Hello Andrel

To be simple, how do you place the bottom inline ad lower from where it’s at? If you turn on pagination, it is above it.

The exact location I wish it to be is below the pagination.

Bogdan,

How do you exempt the cache for this? Using cache definitely speeds up everything. Using the mobile theme makes it optimal.

Is the solution to turn off cache? I’m using wordfence (Falcon engine) and on cloudflare. Maybe I should just use basic cache…

Anyway, is there any way to exempt the plugin from being cached?

Thank you.

Bogdan,

Thank you for bringing that up about Google crawlers on the css.

Thank you it worked out well!

Hello Bogdan,

Where do I add the condition? Can’t I just add a css like how I did for the post and pages?

It seems that having adsense in pages like the 404 is against adsense TOS so asking a fix for this.

Please advise. Thank you.

Thank you Andrei! Very helpful!

Just one more question… how do you not have header ads appear in the 404 page?

Overall, the code you gave me for the pages work! Now I just want to disable the ad in the 404 page.

Thank you.

Thank you for the screenshots and explanation.

How do you do this for pages as well?

Thank you again!

How did you find the hidden code? Or did Yengo build the site for you?

Showing us how you found the source would really help us be aware of any anonymous adsense codes.

Thanks

Thanks!

Curious but do I have to implement this code each time for each post to avoid adsense?

Furthermore, just to be sure, which file should I implement the custom css code in?

Thank you Catalln.

Thanks for this.

How do you do this for the Header ad? Not inline.

Thank you.
