but the revolution slider is connected to the menu right? Atleast the mobile one?
same here, no sticky
tap…tap…tap
Looking forward to it π
I’ve actually optimized every single in the theme. Even backend π
It’s only because the theme is so great I’m pushing for KBs. I know my site is more than good enough to run as is. But no one likes red flashes on validators π
This topic kinda got merged into my other one as both “problems” seems to be rev slider related.
thanks for your awesome support on here @christopher
“Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content”
It’s the only error I have left on PageSpeed Insights. Currently at 80/100 mobile and 95/100 desktop.
“Your page has 2 blocking script resources and 3 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.”
All those are related to Slider Revolution, not the theme. That’s why I’m curios how you can get rid of them. Can you get these removed by adding stuff to .htaccess? Or some server setting?
actually the menu isn’t working at all
hmmm,
I’m working my down my list of improving my pagespeed. I’m getting closer but i noticed that the demo don’t have the same warnings. So there must be some way to improve it without doing coding π
I’m still quite unsure what the site verification code actually looks like
something like google8800498ee000000e
(Or just the 8800498ee000000e?)
But, my site did get verified so something worked π
Thanks π
hmm ok π
Do you have any experience with http://wpengine.com?
Thank you @circuitsports. That’s very impressive. I’ll try some of these once i add some more content to my site. I’m sure a site can be nice and fast even without the green numbers…but you know perfectionism…
Thank you again @Christopher for your help on here π
My site is in norwegian and so is my hosting. They are quite cheap but decent enough. But I don’t mind paying more for better hosting.
So a coupple of questions:
- Are there any particular hosting companies you would recommend for better performance?
- I was looking at the Bluehost site. Is the Pro package better in performance than the standard package?
- Is there any point in looking at VPS or Dedicated hosting? Or is it overkill for a singe blog?
- CDN, is there any point getting it when 99% of my readers will come from Norway?

And then for the next question. Would you recommend to get your site verfied with Google, Bing AND Alexa?
Thank you Christopher for your patience. I confuse myself sometimes to.
So just to see if I’m getting it right:
Google publisher code would be:
https://plus.google.com/+MyPageName
And i put this URL in SEO/Social/Google+ Tab
Google verification code would be:
something like google8800498ee000000e
(Or just the 8800498ee000000e?)
And this i enter into Google Webmaster Tools in Yoast Control panel
Google Analytics code would be:
something like UA-00000000-1
And that goes somewhere else …

Cheers,
but i meant where exactly do i find the google verification code? Not on my wordpress site but from webmaster tools. And what does the code look like.
I’ve had some issues in the past with analytics code. Some plugins just require the Tracking code, some wants the whole script. Others want the script but excluding certain parts.
Ok,
I’ve usually just used the tag cause the website normally gets verified instantly then. But I do use Yoast. Where exactly do I find the verification code? what does it look like?
Thanks
i’ll look out for the update. Thanks π
