Getting it sorted slowly. How do I remove the ‘My Tourism’ CPT and taxonomies that come with the Cali theme?

I thought I had explained in my previous post. I want to know why I can’t see the filter/category options under Places that I have created (https://ibb.co/V9MbDV3) when I create a new ‘Places’ post (https://ibb.co/YhX6ksH). I have set it up identically to the already created ‘Tourism’ CPT which came with the template (by the way I have no idea where to edit/remove all of that since it doesn’t appear in the CPT UI or ACF plugin sections).

This still doesn’t clarify it for me. I want my ‘Places’ CPT to show what I assume are subcategories that I have created as previously pictured. In addition to creating these in the left menu bar under the ‘Places’ post section, to I also have to create a new taxonomy for each one? There is no documentation explanining all of this and it is extremely confusing/unclear.

Hi – I don’t know what that means. What do I need to do/where do I need to go?

To clarify, I want the logo to be a front end submission/user uploaded item as it will change for every post/location. Is that possible?

Hi – on this page (https://ibb.co/XsFB40p) for example putting a logo image above the title. And keeping the large header image (featured image) banner at top.

Also, re the map showing CPTs geographically (https://ibb.co/xhx42WW) is this something that could be custom made?

Ok so from my understanding with this for example in the Cali template it is not possible to have the large header image and a smaller logo image on a directory page?

Also I am not seeing a way to add a logo option in addition to the featured image. Is there clearer documentation on how to do this?

Hi – as far as I understand it, I have to be on a product page and choose the ‘Cloud’ button to find a template and import it. My problem is that when I click on the ‘Cloud’ button to choose a template, nothing happens. So I’m not sure how I can import a product template without being on a product page.

I figured out how to turn off Mobile plugin, but I’m still having issues with the Category, Tag, and Author pages showing the wrong formatting as wrong as the wrong footer

So the twitter icon is showing up in the author box on blog post pages, but not on the author page. Is there a reason for that?

Hi – that is the problem. I am setting up my twitter link there, but a twitter icon does not appear in the author bio page. I am wondering what format it needs to be in – ie http://www.twitter.com/curistorian or twitter.com/curistorian or @curistorian etc.

The change I’m trying to make is on the Single Post blog page. The problem is that the elements that I don’t want only show up in preview, not in editing mode, which means I can’t edit/remove them. Any solution there?

I’m having the same issue. Can’t get rid of the author box at the bottom of the post page no matter what I save or do.
