Sorry, but I don’t think you understood my question. Here is an example with 2 authors. Note how it only shows details for Frodo. I would prefer this box is repeated for each author or it isn’t usable.

So this works, but there are a couple of issues.

1. The element still scrolls out of view until it hits the original 20px top, and then jumps down.
2. When there are elements underneath the sticky element that cause it to eventually scroll up with the rest of the page, while scrolling up, the sticky element flickers quite badly.
3. The element vanishes suddenly once the footer comes into view (technically I think the top value is reset meaning it goes back up to the original position, but effectively it vanishes)

I’m starting to think this requires a JS fix, editing the theme file, though I have no idea which file to tweak.
