Hello Anamaria

Thank you for your reply to my post. I didn’t have a theme panel backup to restore unfortunately as all backups were dated today, which was after the issue happened.

If it’s of any use to someone looking at the post, it seems the issue I had not being able to a sidebar to a single post from a CPT was due to an active child theme. I switched to the main parent newspaper theme and the issue was resolved.
