Hi,
I can see certain junk “garbage” characters in the generated feed. Is it a problem of the theme or my connection with the Instant Article plugin.

I am using Newspaper 8.6; WordPress 4.9.4; PHP 7.0.27

Issue solved. As said, it was the server which was troubling.
I hadn’t installed php-gd.
For those running CentOS on VPS, here’s the SSH code:
“yum install gd gd-devel php-gd”
and then restart apache:
“service httpd restart”

I tried the plugin and although it said that the thumbnails were created, the problem is still there.
In my wp-content/uploads folder, I could see different sizes – say flood-assam-533×261.jpg, flood-assam-100×70.jpg etc – images. But the news images are uploaded as it is and no such different sizes are being created. Is this some server issue? I recently reinstalled my VPS and uploaded the backup. I guess this is some server issue and I hope you could guide me what needs to be changed.
