That makes sense. However, when I attempt this, the element just spins and spins. Please see the video here https://stemcellpowernow.com/wp-content/uploads/Spins.mp4

I refreshed the page and tried it again with no luck.

Suggestions to make this work?

Thank you.

Thank you so much for your reply! I have tried 3 different accordion plugins and because they use standard WordPress short codes and the Newspaper theme is not compatible with standard WordPress short codes (that I have found), all that displays is the short code. I have tried an HTML element and a text element and both do the same thing.

Do you have a way that the tagDiv element will support a standard WordPress short code?

Here’s the image of what I am experiencing: https://stemcellpowernow.com/wp-content/uploads/2022-07-28_23-17-45.jpg

Thank you,
Dave

Hi Bettina,

I LOVE the Newspaper theme, but yes, missing an accordion element natively and not having support for standard WordPress shortcodes definitely limits the ability to do what some of us want to do (especially for SEO purposes) for FAQ’s and other needed purposes.

Has anyone found an accordion element that’s supported by tagDiv yet or is there a plan in incorporate one into the theme? I see this as a missed opportunity by your development team to make the theme legendary.

Thank you,

Dave
