Hi there,

I will try to explain myselft correctly.

The option you mentioned on “template settings” on newspaper settings is for bbpress themplates (the field name mentions bbpress only) as you can see on your image.

I was trying to ask you if there is a way we can set up template layouts for budypress groups page. I mean, using the sidebar instead of a full width layout for example.

We did some tests and found out that the “template settings” that is being used on budypress groups is the “page template”. If we change that template layout it will change budypress groups page but also every page on the website since we are changing “page template”.

Isn’t there an option to change budypress template only? What we want is to set up a left sidebar for budypress groups page only.

thanks for the quick feedback.

It seeems that bbpress option doesn’t add the sidebar, but if we change the PAGE template on the same newspaper template settings, the sidebar shows up. It seems the buddypress is using the page template to set up the sidebars.

Is there anyway to use the bbpress option to set up the sidebar template?

Hey Chris, sorry for the late reply, but we also have this issue and it’s getting worst.

Basically we have 10 website with high traffic, 5 of them are with newspaper, and these 5 stopped indexing on google, when we changed to HTTPS.

The plugins are the same, everything except the theme is the same. Right now the googlebot is giving 500 on almost every article on these 5 websites.

Do you have any tip where we can look for to fix this issue?

hi there,

thanks for the quick feedback, just checking if any kind of html header could be causing this issue. It’s weird because before the migration to https it was working.

Hello there,

Many thanks for all the help.

The exclusion is working, it’s allmost perfect, we only have one issue:
This action is excluding posts from the given tag from every shortcode/block not only from the block5. For example, we have one block 5 and then below a block 18. The excluded posts are also being excluded from block18.

we tried to use that action ad the module3.php but it’s not working well. Only exclude posts below that module.

Hello there,

Many thanks for the quick reply.

The problem is that we have thousands of tags and we want to include them all except one. We tried to do the same we did on categories add minus before the id but it seems not working on tags.

Now we were trying to change the query on those block phps to add tag__not_in but no luck.

We really appreciate all the help you can give, thanks!
