Thanks Bettina, it’s WP Rocket that causing the issue. I think it’s solved by excluding the themes images. But I’ll check the coming days. Thanks
Hi there,
This concerns my website wandelingen.info
I’m trying to figure out why my submenu is not opening anymore. I use WP Rocket and had great results in the past. Now my submenus are not opening anymore. It has to do with javascript execution I guess, because I ticked the box of ‘delay javascript execution’. Without ticking the box, it works fine but the speed is superslow.
When I’m logged in and I’m in tagdiv composer the submenu is opening.
Can you tell me how to solve this?
I cleared cache already.
Thanks!
Hi Vlad, Thanks for your reply. It’s still not an answer to my question though.
I built my homepage again, new page > visual composer.
https://www.wandelingen.info
When a add an extra element, it breaks and shows weird signs for ë.
When I delete this element, it works fine.
Please take a look and let me know what I can do.
Thanks, Dorien
Hi Vlad,
This page: https://www.wandelingen.info/wandelinspiratie-new/ is made with Visual Composer. It works as you can see. But when I set this page as homepage in customizer > homepage settings, it breaks.
The actual homepage: https://www.wandelingen.info was edited in Visual Composer, but I guess it s base is in the demo ‘travel blog’, which is no longer available in the demos. So I guess this is where the WP Bakery Builder elements are?
My post template (f.e. https://www.wandelingen.info/agatha-christie-in-torquay/) is made in Visual Composer. When I uninstall the travel blog demo, the font settings change and my layout shifts. So my guess is that there still are some elements of WP Bakery Builder here as well. Is that the case?
Plugin is not installed. Travel Blog demo is installed.
Do I have to uninstall the travel blog demo to get rid of the WP Bakery Builder settings or what should I do to solve the problem?
Thanks
Hi Anamaria,
Thanks for your reply. I was not aware that I used both plugins.
The homepage is built with visual composer as far as I know.
Does this have to do with the travel demo that I installed years ago when I started with Newspaper? And how do I get rid of WP Bakery builder? I don’t see any plugin installed. Thanks!
Thanks!
Admin area on mobile them shows above the related article part, just above the footer https://imgur.com/nIc4ALJ
Thanks

Hi Vlad, OK that’s part of the answer 😉
Inserting it on custom css phone did not work
Inserting it on mobile theme custom did work.
I asked some other questions, which you did not answer:
There is a part called ‘admin’ that I like to hide
And there is ‘related articles’ which I would like to translate
In The footer it says ‘About us’ which I would like to translate
How can I get access to the mobile theme to change these things?
Hi Vlad,
Can you help me out? You gave me an answer that does not help. I was asking for adjustments on mobile theme, not desktop. See my original message below:
I’m trying to find out where to adjust the mobile theme. Am I overlooking something?
For example, I want to skip the social media icons on the top and on the bottom end of the page.
And Delete the admin part and change some english words to dutch.
Can you help me out?
Can I use chrome inspector to see the specifics of the mobile theme?
On Mobile theme!
Hi Vlad,
It’s http://www.reisverhalen.info
On the post template I would like to change the social media icons.
And skip the info on author and date
Bottom:
change social media icons
There is a part called ‘admin’ that I like to hide
And there is ‘related articles’ which I would like to translate
In The footer it says ‘About us’
How can I get access to this?
Thanks!
Hi Calin, Thanks! Don’t know where this -4px came from. Can’t remember changing it. But it’s solved now! Thanks!
