That is a shame. It would be great if you could try again and request the breadcrumbs element to be improved so that it showed the parent page.

The alternative solutions are not really good enough seeing as they won’t remain permanent (i.e. will have to change the code after every update).

So until then I will have to do without breadcrumbs altogether.

Please try and request it in a future update!

Will these changes to the theme code disappear whenever the theme itself is updated? Would I need to install a child theme to avoid this?

But if you could still tell me how to edit the theme code that would be great

Also is it possible to have breadcrumbs showing on wordpress posts as well, not only pages?

Surely the breadcrumbs element should show the parent page anyway, without having to edit the theme code.

I can’t even work out how to edit the theme code anyway, to see if your second solution would work

The problem is that I have a custom title area – so it doesn’t look very good when I select the page template (pagebuilder + page title).

As you can see, the breadcrumbs from the page builder element is in the right position, but doesn’t show the parent page.

However, the parent pages does show in the breadcrumbs in the title area – but this is not what I would like as I have used a page title element to show page title (to make it look better).

Is there a way to make the parent page show in the breadcrumbs element in the page builder?

That does work. But now it shows a title at the top of the page, whereas I already had a custom title element (which looks better)

Do you think there is another solution so that I can have the correct breadcrumbs but also a custom title element?

Thanks for the quick reply.
There are no conflicts as far as I can tell. It was working fine when creating a page using the WordPress page builder, but when I created a page using the TagDiv builder (adding an element for breadcrumbs) the parent page doesn’t show
