issue fixed! i did the modification in the Advanced CSS. now my 700 pixel photos look sharp now 🙂

I understand the overall theme width cannot be changed. Just one last clarification, i basically want to adjust the padding or the margin of the left column (content) so the left column content will become slightly bigger. so is there a way to change the padding or margin of the left column? this is in my article pages (posts) where the content is placed.

I tried adjusting via CSS in Inspect Element by adding a ‘negative margin’ (margin-left: -5px), but it doesn’t seem to work when I try to add it in the Custom code area.

apologies. i’m good, was able to ‘disable’ the date and author.

I just need help now with the content width of the left column, basically, my photos area 700 pixels wide, so I’m looking for a content column that it would accommodate the width of the photos without resizing it (currently, it is set at 696 pixels). so i’m really looking for minimal adjustments. maybe even just 710 pixels width for the left column and the remaining width will be automatically set according to what’s left of the container width.
