For my homepage I did find how to do that, but for posts it is not clear to me đ
You say that I need to use tagdiv composer too, but I don’t find what I need to do. I want to have it in each and every post page on my whole site.
If I go to the theme panel and then > template settings > blog and posts template then I can choose an article view, a sidebar location and a sidebar template , but nothing special for mobile ? I guess I must be looking somewhere wrong ?
I have a same kind of problem and posted it about 10 minutes ago on the forum. Could you have a look at it? It might be related ?
My problem is that I enter ad code in the theme panel, but in my page html source code it shows not the same code. I have included the codes in my post on the forum.
Kind regards,
Bart
Little addition. The website has been visited more than 100 times in 12 hours and by more than 100 different users, but still the adsense ad units stay at “NEW” instead of “ACTIVE” on the google adsense reporting pages ?
Does that mean that my ads are not displaying at all ? I did enter the ad core 100% correctly in the newspaper panel at the correct locations…. help please ?
So it seems like the COLUMN TEXT element has a wysiwyg editor atached and that was what I was looking for.
If I understand right then you would do the images as SINGLE IMAGE elements and layout them with tagdiv composer, but that actually leaves me with another problem.
Please let me explain. If I want text with in that text 1 RIGHT-aligned image, then the text will flow around the image. You can see that in my linked screenshot above. The image of the children jumping up. Once the image is finished, the text uses the full with again automatically. I have no clue how I should do that then with the composer. the only thing I see is that I could have A column split in 2 (left “column text” and right my “image”), but then the text will always stay in that left column and not automatically continue in full width under the image?
Please see the screenshot by following the link below.
I have created a layout with the tagdiv composer and that layout consists of a row where I have 2 columns. 1 column on the left is 2/3 wide and the right one 1/3
Inside the left 2/3 I want to put text with different font colors, font styles, images with right and center alignment, …
These are things you can easily do in the default editor in WP, but if you create the page with tagdiv composer, then there are codes between [] .
For now I have just entered my info by making myself space the [vc_column_inner] tag and [/vc_column_inner]. I did this by entering a few times and then began to write the text and inserting the images. This seems to work somehow, but is this really the way to go ?
Isn’t there an element which you can insert in that vc_column_inner to get a text box with full wysiwyg editor ?
If you open the backoffice with the latest theme freshly installed (no previous installations of anything else) then you can go to the support tab.
There you see 3 items and item 3 is Video tutorials.
The view tutorials links to the newspaper 7 playlist instead of the 8
Dear Chris,
I did really search quite well. But I searched in the theme settings and that isn’t right. Looking for sidebar and wordpress in google seemed to give me almost all links to plugins, which in my opinion was also not the way to do it. I actually allready made a complete responsive wordpress theme myself in the past, so I’m not that bad at wordpress. Just didn’t use widgets before because in our previous self built template we built in the sidebar in the theme itself.
I also found out how to do this editing about 2 hours after I posted here, so I kept looking for solution. The big problem is you can’t delete your question here once you posted it.
It’s good to know that these sidebars are setup using widgets. Now I’ll know where to look for it.
I found out that I can make a page layout myself which does exactly what I want. So this is solved.
