I was having same problems about a fresh installation. When I was tryng to save the new setting in theme panel, an animation, indicating the work in progress, started but never ended. I’ve checked, as suggested, the server configuration and everything was pretty ok. I was desperate and hangry. Finaly, I uninstalled all the files of the theme and the related plugins, when i reinstalled newly the theme everything goes right.
