Hey, so I finally worked out what the issue was. The designer exported the logo images at like 18000w by 12000h and once I took those images out it started working. I resized them myself and it is working now.

Really appreciate the help in trying to sort this out. All the troubleshooting was pointing to a theme issue but I never thought to take out images so my bad on that. Again, thanks for all the help!

I have turned off the Tag Div Social counter plugin
Turned off sharing in post settings
Turned off social icons in the header settings

There aren’t any javascript pop ups added to the site

We use slider revolution for the front page but I disabled that and the page still did not load

I do not have any plugins running other than

tagDiv Composer
Slider Revolution (Disabled and tested no change)
Jetpack by WordPress.com (Disabled and tested no change)
Akismet Anti-Spam (Disabled and tested no change)

I checked for malware and the only files that were changed were by GoDaddy
Those files are

gd-config.php (GoDaddy added for their configuration)
wp-admin/install.php (Removed for security should not effect theme)
wp-config-sample.php (Removed for security should not effect theme)
wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php (Removed for security should not effect theme)

What should I do now

which custom code box? Can you be very detailed in what you are suggesting I do to get custom JS to work with your theme?

I too have the same question.

Is there any way to get that effect outside of using the block settings?

The fade in effect is in the column container. So like the setting for fade in is not actually on the author box. I just thought it would inherit because the author box was inside it. Is there any way to put an effect on the Author Box? and why would you not have effects for that?

Well, there is an option for the fade in effect on the container of the Author Box, and in the container, I said to fade-in… I understand if that is not going to work on the Author Box module. I just would have thought that you could include a transition effect so that if you wanted a page to look the same, you could implement those transition effects.

I was trying to figure out what the User ID was so I could tell it what user to display. I tried hovering, but I think the issue with that method is that I am the only user on my site. I just was not sure if I was a different user ID or if it would have started at 1. So, in the end, I just tried 1, and it worked, and then I read your reply.

On another note though when I do try and put a fade in effect on the author box it does not seem to work? Any idea of how to fix that?

False alarm. I realized that in the CSS I did not put the “.” for selecting a class. Sorry, not sure if I can just delete this as this was not really an issue?

Thanks,

So I am doing the about page for my site. And I used the Author Box but it is not showing me as the author. It asks for the Author ID but is that the Author Username or is that the WordPress UserID given when the User is created. If it is the latter then I am not sure where I can find that number. I have read through the documentation for the theme but that documentation doesn’t talk about configuring the blocks. Is there another resource that explains how to use different blocks?
