Hi Bettina

I am sorry if my wordings earlier have confused you.

Please see the snapshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/0McpKogPXt

You could see the title of the wordpress post is OVER the featured image of the first post. I would need assistance to get this below the featured post so the image is not hidden somehow by this title.

I hope this clarifies.

Hi Anamaria
Thanks, this has fixed one problem of ‘About us’ text from footer using Translations, however, the other part of puzzle remains. How to get rid of the logo that is appearing in the footer? As mentioned earlier, i have not got any logo configured in any of the footers, please see the snapshot sent earlier again, thanks.

Hi Bettina
I just went through the exercise. Sharing my experience that nothing other than one step is required in this scenario.

1. Assign the same license to the new domain which becomes visible in the “My License” tab in the Welcome screen. Please note no new license was acquired.

2. Un-assign the license from the old domain and you’re done.

So looking at this, even no reset was required and the licensing is not generating any issues with this.

Hi Bettina
I understand the process, however, let me reiterate: There is no new website. It’s the same website with a mere domain name change.

– So the hosting provider is the same
– The location of the website such as /public_html/ remains the same. We’re not touching it.

Is there any reset for licensing required in this scenario asked?

Hi Bettina
Thanks for your response.

In this case, it is just a domain name change, everything else remains the same: Website and its content in the worpress CMS that were recently developed in newspaper theme and almost ready to go live before this domain name change issue occurred.

1) So Would not deleting the theme delete all the theme settings as the folder in WordPress CMS: /wp-content/themes/newspaper ?

2) If theme is deleted, how then are theme settings preserved so the new domain inherit all the same settings, look and feel?

3) Will backing up the theme settings in theme panel via Export and Importing later to new theme achieve theme settings restore?

Please advise in the light of preserving the current theme settings and data.

Regards,

Muhammad

Thanks for your response.

Could not see that option, however, i was able to get it installed on staging site by re-downloading the theme and apply. Thanks for your assistance.
