Hi Simion,

Thank you for the support. I wanted to update you and the community that I managed to resolve the issue.

The standard workaround eventually worked: I had to completely delete the old theme, upload the new version, and reinstall the plugins from scratch to fix the conflict. The tagDiv Opt-In Builder is now working perfectly.

I really appreciate that your team is always available to help, even after many years. To reflect this great and reliable customer service, I have gladly updated my review on ThemeForest.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
Fabrizio

Hello, I am facing the same issue with the version 12.7.6.
I tried the solution suggested by you for the version 12.7.5, but this time did not work.
I get the fatal error when I try to activate the tagDiv Opt-In Builder.
“Please do the following: disable all theme plugins you are using, delete the theme, and reinstall the theme plugins from Newspaper > Plugins one by one.”

Can you please support me?
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply!
Switching from child to main theme and then deactivating, deleting and reinstalling each plugin helped me to solve the issue.
The tagDiv Opt-In Builder is now correctly activated also in Newspaper 12.7.5.
Best,
Fabrizio

Hello Bettina and Calin. Thanks for getting back to me here and via email.

I noticed that some ads started rendering eventually, but I need to flag the following issues:
– I am using responsive ADS and they are occupying too much space as you can see. The previous versions of your theme never had this issue. The ads were contained in specific containers for each view (desktop, mobile, tablet) https://imgur.com/a/HoxMTiA
– ads are still not rendering within the articles. The screenshot is from Google Chrome https://imgur.com/a/aeD5UZa
– also please, not that I implemented top, inline and bottom ads and as you can see, the inline ads shows right after the top article one and not after few paragraphs as it used to be. How can we solve this? https://imgur.com/a/aeD5UZa

Thanks for your help.

Here you can see a screenshot from mobile https://imgur.com/a/x0qKc92

Most probably the code is pulled from Mobile Theme section, but it proves that the Adsense code is correct (using the same Adsense code)

Thanks for the reply, Bettina.
Is there any other option to have this box available also in mobile?

Based on what I see in the MOBILE THEME options, I can only use MOBILE or AMP. Does it mean that I can’t have the box “Subscribe to our newsletter” in mobile view?

Hello once again Bettina,
I noticed that the LEAD shortcode box doesn’t appear in mobile layout, but only in desktop view. How can I make the box “Subscribe to our newsletter” appear also in each article in mobile view?
Thanks,
Fabrizio

Hello Bettina,
thanks a lot. I didn’t realize that I should have made the changes by making the changes in Cloud Templates > All Templates and editing the post template there, that in my case it’s called “Single Post Template 40 – Fast News”.
Additionally, I realized that I had selected a different post template in Theme Panel post settings that overrides the template for each post when “From Panel” is selected at the post level (and this is the setting selected for all my posts).

I would recommend to write down a more extensive documentation for the OPT-IN plugin.
Thanks a lot,
Fabrizio

Hi,
I updated the theme to 9.6.1 as you recommended and it seems that this version of the them fixed the issue with AMP.
Please see a screenshot from my Google Search Console

I’m sorry, could you please be more specific about this Java Script error? I did not insert any custom Java script in my theme that I am aware of. Also the thread you kindly linked to me is not explaining much more and is linking into a loop.

My website is https://italiapragaoneway.eu

Thanks for your kind help.

Hello support team,
since I installed the AMP plugin I am receiving tons of 404 errors in my Google Search Console. I followed the guidance and your recommendations in this thread. The main error I am getting is “Custom Java Script is now allowed”.

I am attaching a couple of screenshot from my Google Search Console and hopefully you can help me to figure out the problem.

Hi,
thanks for your response.
I have two more questions:
1) I noticed that the AMP test fails when I have WP Fastest Cache Premium enabled. Do you know what the reason can be?

2) when I load the AMP version of a page, this is what I see on desktop.

The plugin support told me that AMP is not working correctly. I think it’s normal that looks like this on desktop. Can you please clarify it to me?
The test is passed according to AMP Google test

Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks for the clear instructions. I have one more concern. I tried to test AMP on my website on https://search.google.com/test/amp but it seems that AMP is not working. Is there something else I need to do? Can you please help? (see screenshot)
