Can you please help us modify the code to take away the background and leave the writing in grey (otherwise, it will be white on white)?

The options of the teme work only if you have only the subtitle, but we need to write also the excerpt, that will be displayed in home page.

The excerpt and subtitle copy will be the same, cut/paste, so what will be displayed in home page, wether subtitle or excerpt, makes no difference……. I just need to be able to cut the text like I can do with the subtitle.

if I use ONLY the subtitle in the article, the home page automatically shows the first three lines of text, and that’s ok. but we need the manual excerpt to be present, and if we duplicate the excerpt in the subtitle box and in the excerpt box, the home page displays the excerpt (that is longer and not cut at the three lines)

now, a few questions:

1) can we insert the excerpt in the article (we need id for the feeds) but not have it display in the home page, or have it displayed but with the possibility to cut it at the third line, like it does automatically with the body if there is no excerpt?
(we use quite long excerpts)

2) can we decide how much text can be displayed in home page before the “read more” cut?
The default is more or less 3 lines… can we decide to go for 4 or 5?

3) instead of the blue Continua button we would like to display just plain, linked text…. is it possibile?
