Thank you for this suggestion.

I updated the td_site.js file as suggested. But it made no difference. I noticed that td_site.min.js was the file used on the site, so I tried updating that too. Again, with no difference.

However, I also noticed a slight anomaly.

If I look at http://www.ryanterry.fitmediaproductions.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/js/td_site.min.js then I see the changes I’ve made.

However, the site adds ?ver=1.5 to the URL so it’s http://www.ryanterry.fitmediaproductions.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/js/td_site.min.js?ver=1.5

With this extra variable, then it reverts back to the version of the file before I made the suggested changes.

How does the ?ver=1.5 generate an old version of the .js file?

I just noticed that the same problem happens on the Demo site too – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/td-post-after-effects-guru-tracking-and-stabilizing-footage/

All Vimeo videos have the black lines top and bottom because the iframe is resized wrong.

Any suggestions on a fix would be great.

Hi,

I’m also having the same conflict, and would be very interested to see a speedy fix to this if possible.

I appreciate the conflict is caused by lack of functionality in WordPress, but would be great if we could switch the megamenu options on or off.

The author of the Nav Menu Roles suggests a solution at https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/faq/ under Workaround #1.

Perhaps this could be incorporated in to the theme?

I just realised this post is in the Newspaper forum, and not the Newsmag forum. I’m using Newsmag. But the same problem exists.
