Hi there,

Is there any update on the progress of this bug?

I’m needing a solution ASAP, so I’ve been looking into how to add the authors via a custom field but I need a solution that’s appropriate for a site that has thousands of posts. Currently I don’t see a way to dynamically update or include co-authors in the ACF field without manually updating every single post after making said custom field.

I could make a custom PHP shortcode that gets the Molongui author list, but it doesn’t seem like the text elements in the module editor execute shortcodes. Is there any way to execute a shortcode for the post in the module?

Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to look into this issue and for your quick response!

I’ll think about how to execute the workaround you suggested while the bug is looked into. Do you have any guidance on that? I’m comfortable going into php or editing code, so let me know! Thank you!

I noticed also that raw HTML is not available as a block in the module template builder, so that may be why I was having an issue adding a short code to the module template. Any work around for this? I’d like to use the custom module templates instead of the pre-made flex block elements, since I can customize them further.

Thank you!

I figured it out, use the flex block builder instead of the flex loop builder. that way you can use your own modules but have category filtering!

one question – how do i filter the flex loop builder element to only show posts from one category? Similar to the filter option on the legacy post loop.

thank you!

seems like it is only happening while editing in Firefox also. i have disabled all extensions and it still occurs. Safari (on mac) seems to load the fields properly
