Thanks for the reply. I’m actually already aware of those features you mentioned. What I was trying to get at is that I need help implementing them properly on my site. I had sent an email a while back asking for guidance and a quote for services, so I’ll follow up on that email.
That aside, I still feel like the theme is missing a few modern features or maybe I’m just not seeing them?
Dark mode is one. I noticed one of the other themes switches to dark mode automatically based on the visitor’s system settings (like on Mac), which is great. This would be a nice feature.
There’s also no Table of Contents block that I can find, which is kind of expected nowadays — especially for long-form content and SEO.
Another thing: I’d love to create styled content boxes (like quote blocks, info boxes, tips, etc.). There’s no easy way to do this in the Newspaper theme. If there’s a built-in way to create that inside Composer without extra CSS, I haven’t found it yet.
Other features I’ve seen in newer themes like JNews and Foxiz that seem missing:
Text-to-speech for articles
GIF thumbnails that actually animate
Smart sticky nav or TOC sidebar
Font size/accessibility toggles
Reusable block templates inside Composer
More lightweight mobile-first optimization
I still really like using Newspaper, but it’s starting to feel a bit behind compared to what other newer themes are doing. Would love to know if any of this is on the roadmap.
Thanks again!
Also, my website loads slowly. My hosting provider made some changes but they said to check with you and there appears to be something in the theme that is making it slower – https://prnt.sc/PQrbgRc1bO_-
but I will have to manually do that for each image, right? Like how do I do that for the entire website even posts and images in posts?
Apologies. Here is the link https://www.reliablesoft.net/content-marketing-checklist
I am wondering, do you know how they do the purple rounded background to highlight text and they grey background as shown on the page. Is this something I can do with the theme or do you know of a plugin for this? I don’t even know what’s it called. Thanks.
I am not aware of any codes for blockquote. Will have to check. What about the second part to my message?
Thank you.
Thanks, but I am not looking for the sections or the entire home page. I want the menu option when you click on the three horizontal lines on the many https://prnt.sc/9lOU4ODQRLxA.
I only want this https://prnt.sc/l2MceL_507li which is not available when I download the homepage or the menu. This popup is a separate page layout.
Thanks for this.
I assume the demo for frontend submission is this particualr demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_eastcoast_check_pro/. How do I log in to see it in action? I tried to sign up and it just spins. How can I check out this feature in action?
Thanks. I’m not looking to make a new newsletter. Even with custom CSS for my embedded mailchip form, it doesn’t display correctly with column text.
Returning to my screenshot, is there just a way to match the form I have on top with the form you created? I only wish to increase the input box size and button size. The form is working perfectly, I just need to change those two items to match what you have. That way, when someone signs up it goes to Mailchimp.
I did the newsletter add-in and connected it to mailchimp and there doesn’t seem like much customisation options. I want to make the input field and button the same size as what you have in the lead add in. You can see the difference in this screenshot https://prnt.sc/UDAPDy1DFZNH
How can I get them the same?
Also, can I do the checkbox with this newsletter add-in? I did see checkbox settings but nowhere to enable it.

Is there a way to integrate the subscriber forms into Mailchimp and keep the same layout/design? Or to display a successful signup message? I get a lot of spam emails from this form.
Also, when someone subscribes, is there a way to keep the form showing instead of displaying the message that they have subscribed? In case multiple people use the same computer and browser, others can subscribe too.

Also, how do I get this popup window https://prnt.sc/-ZkJ66T_7W-f. Is there a cloud template for this? I can’t seem to find one. If not, can you add this to my WordPress as a page also?
Can you provide the page examples. For stuff like this it would be good to also provide the pages too because most people want it in the same formatting. I can’t quite get the layout. https://prnt.sc/Q_xfIF8Qzxdt
I also emailed last weekend login information into WordPress for forever mogul. Feel free to dump the page example in there.
Or how do I get the website name to show on one line. If you go to ForeverMogul.com on an iPhone for example, you will see Forever Mogul are on two lines. How do I get this on one?
Can you send me this fix again please or post it here. It’s not working for the iPad layout as shown in the screenshot.
I don’t see any errors. I have emailed the support email to take a look. The email has the wordpress login information.
Ok I will leave it.
Last thing on this template. Is it possible to add a background to each of the category headers. So instead of the grey background.
Can this be hidden by some custom code on the category pages that do not have subcategories?
I’ve done the Ad box thing but the code in but the ads on these pages are not showing.
Noting the time difference and realising this will be an issue for an entire day, I have switched to the mobile theme for now, until this is resolved.
I’ve sent the email with the wordpress information.
When I add the Single Post Content to the mobile viewpoint that works, but then it creates double content on the desktop viewport on the live page.
I sent an email last weekend.
