My understanding is that you don’t bother about performance issues. My website’s page size is way smaller than the 16Mb of 1 of your queries. Situation getting more nasty as you dive deeper in theme’s dev choices. Whatever. At the and of the day it is just 60 bucks for a theme for the masses. Not for critical mission websites. That is what I understand. Thanks for your time.
I think I wasn’t very clear and as a result you have misunderstood here. My point is this. Isn’t a 16MB query too big for a WordPress theme? Isn’t there a more efficient way for the specific task? Is this a bad written query or not?
But is such a big query valid?
Same problem for me for website over https.
Changed http://api.openweathermap.org to https://api.openweathermap.org at tagdiv_theme.min.js (and tagdiv_theme.js) but still weather widget not refreshing to correct values. Any other ideas?
Thank you very much.
About my third question, by saying I want to “trim” the excerpt, I don’t mean to disable it totally, but reduce the number of words that appearing.
Can I use the “get_the_excerpt” or the “the_excerpt()” functions instead of your function?
Thanks very much for the reply.
You are totally right. This approach is really difficult.
Finally I managed to find a solution with a nested wp query inside the page template…
I would like to ask you something else.
1. Is it possible to disable the link on the title of only one (not all of them) block on the homepage?

2. On category pages I see this: <meta itemprop="author" content="geopal">

I want to replace content=”geopal” with something static even for the other authors. How I can do it?
3. And the last one: Is it possible to trim the excerpts that appear on category pages?
Thanks in advance for your patience 🙂
It is a more complicated scenario that involves dates inside custom fields.
Unfortunately I really need to hard-code a custom query for this.
So, I insist το my question about the file I have to edit 🙂
Thanks a lot for the immediate answer. I have not checked all solutions, but I will soon. Thank you very much.
Yes, I have seen this setting, but nothing happens when I just write “pages” there.
Isn’ t something else I must do?
How big slider understands which page to show?
G.E.N.I.U.S.
Totally worked
Thanks so much!
This one is RESOLVED.
A custom VC function inside functions.php was causing a fatal error because Visual Composer was deactivated.
Hey.. I see sans-serif right now 🙂
Is someone makes fun of me?

Thank you very much for the reply.
I just found an other way.
