However that does not address my main question. Can you be so kind and explain to me why widgets outside of the initial Newspaper 6 installation do not appear in the Visual Composer? (I have tried 15 different widgets all from different companies and developers).

As I am reading the threads on this post, a gentleman from your company said installed widgets should appear in the Visual Composer, all I am saying this is not happening on my site and I need assistance fixing it.

Hey guys is there an update on this? We too would love to use Facebook Comments. We are noticing a large number of spam comments with the generic comment section, we are hoping not only will the comments be optimized on facebook, but it will also limit the spam comments. Thank you Andrei, but we are not talking about 1 plugin, we are talking about 10 different plugins form different company. It is not that some may not work and others will, I am telling you NOTHING is working. All I am asking for is a simple request to be able to display post types on the home page, that is it. Their are hundreds of widgets that do this, but none will appear on the homepage. Unfortunately I feel I am not getting the proper support needed for this issue.

Thank you but that but that did not work. In addition, here is a list of widgets that also are not visable to use on the homepage: Author Recent Post, Query Wrangler Widget, and Ultimate posts to name a few. It just no widget is working on the home page accept the ones in the Newspaper 6 config.

Thank you it is MAinStRock.com. A number of the widgets I am trying to use are the GeoDirectory plugin Widgets. Pretty much what I need to do is pull in post types from Geo Directory to the home page.

Hello I am having the same issue as this gentleman. In fact I have 10 widgets that are not appearing. I am using trial and error with different widgets to do the same function but none are appearing in the Visual Composer or the page editor – they are however in the Widget section. Please assist.

Thank you for the quick reply. The any custom change I want to save is the login/register box. We had the “username” field taken out so people login in through their email instead of user name. Where can I find this file? I am assuming if I save this file before the the update, then upload the file after upload it should be good correct?

I had a developer work on the site and I have noticed a number of things he messed up including the red letters mentioned above and the search bar is out of line. I tried to reinstall the template however it did not override the settings.

I would completely just delete the entire site and reinstall the theme however I have a number of posts on the site, and I already configured the homepage and menu. Can you please advise. The site is http://www.mainstrock.com.

I am looking for a similar feature. My question is do any of you know know how to get a RSS widget on a category page? For example, we have a health and fitness category, when a reader goes to that category page, under our articles we would like a widget to display rss feeds from outside sources. But how exactly do you get the rss widget on each category page, and how to you customize so each category rss widget is drawn from different sources (ex the business rss would draw from different sources than the health and fitness one).
