What I mean is that at the top of any Post in a certain category I’ve titled “Sponsored Content”, readers will see this:

“Post Title
Author Meta Date Meta – Sponsored Post –
Post Content…”

I’m not trying to change any info that appears in modules. I just want to inject text at the top of certain Posts, in this case the words “- Sponsored Post -“. It should appear next to the Date meta info at the top of these Posts.

Since I want that text to appear on every article in one particular category, I’d think a little CSS snippet would do the trick.

Okay, that worked for the demo. The blank space is still there, and in Modules that just show the date, the date is indented a couple spaces to the right. But this is workable for now.

Hmmm, that didn’t seem to work. I put the code there and saved it, but the “x” is still appearing on posts and in modules.

For reference, I started with the Sound Radar demo template which shows the “x” prominently.

Maybe there’s another css option or a particular file where I could find and delete the character?

I figured it out now. I can’t remove the row unless it’s populated with a block. Then the option appears to discard the whole section. It’s an odd workaround, but I have to drag in a dummy element and then carefully highlight the “row” tab at the top left to drag the whole thing to the delete button at the bottom right of the screen.

Somehow it was fixed when I updated all my other plugins. Thank you.

I have the same issue. The problem isn’t deleting “Elements”, it’s deleting the empty Rows and Columns which keep building up on a page.

The first of the four picture examples Calin shared looks like the proper step to take to remove columns/rows, but the “Delete Row” button doesn’t appear at the bottom left of the “Content -> General -> Row” tab in on the left side of the screen.

I’m using 9.6 and don’t see that option for removing Rows even though everything else looks identical.
