Many thanks for solving this!
For others: it was a bug that can be solved as follows:

To fix this you have to add the following code – http://screencast.com/t/CrXP3Oe8sJK2

if ($icon_id == ‘mail-1’){
$url = ‘mailto:’ . $url;
}

I’ve added this on our list, we will fix it in one of the next updates.

Hi Alin,

Disabling all plugins (besides visual composer) and clearing cache did not remedy this. I also checked it in Firefox, rather than my regular Chrome. In both instances the button remains wide.

As I mentioned in the other post, I’d be happy to share the url with you, but privately. Thanks!

Hi Alin,

When trying to edit the email address in the WordPress admin under ‘Users’, WordPress checks whether it is a valid email address. http://NAME@DOMAIN.COM therefore does not work…

Is it possible to send you the link in a PM?, so you can see the frontend for yourself? It is a dev site and therefore behind a password.

Hi Andrei,

Thanks for your answer! Unfortunately this is not what i mean. As you can see in my screenshots file:///C:/Users/Greenem1/Desktop/Screenshot_1059%20Aug.%2026%2009.22.jpg and file:///C:/Users/Greenem1/Desktop/Screenshot_1059%20Aug.%2024%2015.50.jpg the footer is really big. I would like to remove the space above the line. Is this possible? So the space above over ons.
