Really good news from my side: Deactivating, deleting and reinstalling the composer solved the problem. As far as I can tell at this point all the page issues are gone and everything feels a lot faster!

Thank you, I’m doing a ftp backup real quick, then I’ll try reinstalling the composer! And I have no Multilingual plugin installed … if the problem persists, I will know immediately and send you a screenshot then, OK?

I even have a worse issue, since yesterday every second time I save a page in the composer and exit, WordPress throws a major error, I can’t see any pages in the pages menu anymore!! The saved page is corrupted beyond repair and I have to take 5 different steps to get it back … I have lost data here! I will try Calins’ steps above, hope the help! @Calin: Thanks for the great support in the past, I’ll keep you posted what happens, OK?
