There are many different files that can be infected! Try installing the plugins Sucuri and Wordfence, both will tell you if and what is hacked!!
I’m using 12.6.1. and STILL can’t get rid off the hacks!!
I FOUND THE SOLUTION!
For all of you out there who maybe also want menu descriptions in a cloud template menu, here is how it works. I found this support answer from Vlad:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/doubtful-settings-in-the-menu/
And its all there, all explained! To make it even easier for all of us, here is what you do:
You go into “Appearance/Menu” and add this line of code to the “Navigation Label” field of the menu entry you want the description to show:
Your Page Title<span class=”td-menu-subtitle”>Your Description Text</span>
Thats it!
MAYBE IMPORTANT!!! I just found something else that could be the problem: I have reinstalled the Theme! Guess what, same problem. No PAGES page. Trying to find the problem I just saw in the theme panel custom body class the “td-animals-pro” class which is from a Demo I imported way back on my test server!!!! Could it be that this css is obviously not there in a fresh install of the theme and therefore everything crashes????????
Since I’m on a HUGE project here which NEEDS to go online this coming week, I have to work 24/7 now to find tagDIVs problem. On a side note: IT IS WEEKEND and no solution from the developers since days. CALIN: WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! NOW! PLEASE!!

I also saw a not from Calin to try to install “jQuery Migrate Helper”!
If I do this I get even more error messages:
“jQuery Migrate Helper — Warnings encountered
This page generated the following warnings:
http://wp.gaia-insights.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp-booster/wp-admin/js/tagdiv-theme-plugins-setup.js: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated

Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If you are, you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in the warnings for an update.”
Hi Dabang! Thanks for offering your help again! I’m pretty much out of ideas, which rarely happens! My tagDiv support is still up to date, so I guess I just have to wait for Calins answer and support …
Dear Calin!
I now have deactivated all plugins but tagDIVs! And just now all pages crashed again! PLEASE PLEASE help! This can’t go on like this! It is the same message again when I save and close a page from composer: “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
Hi Calin! Sorry to say, but it is not working anymore, no Updraft! 🙁 This really really is becoming a huge problem for me and my client!
Hi Calin!
On this website it seems so, but I’m just starting now to create some new pages without UpdraftPlus activated. Lets see, I’ll keep you posted!
But, I do have more licensed Newspaper client websites running (guess you can tell, since we did talk quite a bit before and let me say: I love the theme! Thanks, you really did a great job). And with all the others AND as I said until two days ago Newspaper worked perfectly fine with ALL of them, even this one I was talking about yesterday and today …
Its late here in Austria, so I’ll call it an evening and I will create a ticket with tagDiv! Again, thanks from Vienna!!
Which actually makes you trying to help me here even more outstanding! THANK YOU!
I know, I just forgot for a second! Sorry!
Shall we continue this in a ticket?
Of course: “Welcome to Newspaper V 10.3.6.1”
Oh, trust me, I have set all the vars to max 😉
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘768M’ );
define( ‘MAX_INPUT_VARS’, ‘3000’ );
define( ‘MAX_EXECUTION_TIME’, ‘600’);
etc …
OK! Any other ideas then? And again, thanks for the great support!
The backup is done and lies on the server!
Doing the suggested backup via Hosting admin panel as we speak!
Another completely strange problem occurs since yesterday: WP has 256 MB allocated and 99% of those 256 MB memory are always in use!!!
I just deactivated UpdraftPlus again and the composer problem seems gone!
And to add to the problem, no instructions as stated are mailed to the site admin … (=me)

Damn, reinstalled and activated UpdraftPlus, and boom, the composer problem is back!!!!
Another problem that went hand in hand with the composer issue was UpdraftPlus backups stopped working. They just won’t finish. This somehow must be connected.
I had the backup plugin deactivated just until now, but trying it after composer works hasn’t changed the problem. I’ll reinstall this too and let you know!
Any idea from the tagDIV team what’s going? I haven’t updated anything or installed a plugin from everything working to nothing working anymore … 😉
