Oh, sorry about that, I was still thinking of the same module 4 and 8 files. It’s showing now, thanks!

I’d like to show the author name for block 1. The first post on block 1 is showing, but the rest is not.

Ah, I’m very sorry. What I meant was Block 1. I got confused with the block number, really sorry about that. The block 1 that I’m using is located on the sidebar, which is titled “Multimedia”.

No problem with the excerpt, as we want to hide it. We just want to show the picture, category, blog title and author on the front page for now. πŸ™‚

It’s strange though because the two sites has almost the same settings and I didn’t import the theme.

I have deactivated the plugin except for Visual Composer, but still the same. Really strange.

Hello!

On Post Settings, I have enabled Author, Date and Excerpt, although that doesn’t control all the blocks because some were not designed to have the author, like you said πŸ™‚ It might be better to put individual settings on Visual Composer for each Block Module for easier editing. Just a suggestion πŸ™‚

Just having problems with Block 17. Module 4 and module 8 doesn’t have the comment out code, http://imgur.com/nww2Fx4.

Thank you!

Hi Alin!

Thanks so much! It worked for some, http://imgur.com/rbOlRIM. It doesn’t work for Blocks like Block 15 and (the sidebar widget of) Block 17 – the ones with small thumbnails. Sorry, we really need to show the author name on every post on the front page since we’ll be having different writers.

Maybe on future updates, you could add options which to show on the blocks like: categories, author, dates, excerpt, excerpt length, etc πŸ™‚ Keep up the awesome work πŸ™‚

I wonder which file do I edit to add the “wp-caption” as figure class after the “td-post-featured-image” div class tag. I think if I add that class, the caption for featured images will appear on hover. πŸ™‚

Thanks! This really helped a lot. I thought it had to do something with function.php.

By the way, it doesn’t seem to work for featured images, but the caption did hide for the featured image. You may look at the website here, which still uses the demo articles:
