Hi Chris,
thank you for answering. I hoped to find out where to look for the strip function that fordids html in the excerpt in the Newspaper code, since it obviously is not using the “the_excerpt” standard name.

I solved this using a custom timestamp in the general wordpress settings.

Plus: Is there a way to disable the excerpt and show the whole content of the post right on the front page?
