Further update, it’s clearly pulls from the “Content-width” settings for the Single Post Content element. If you change that, the max-width it sets changes with it. The issue is that I never set mine, and it looks like the default is auto, so I’m not sure why the theme is choosing to inject that 335px max width.

for some reason, it’s injecting this into the post-new.php file:

<style>/* custom css */ .td-gutenberg-editor .editor-styles-wrapper .wp-block {max-width: 335px}</style>
