I managed to activate Newspaper theme after disabling all not mandatory plug-ins.

were you able to solve activation issue with the help of tagdiv support?
I am experiencing the same issue, spent hours trying to fix it on my own, so far nothing works. I am looking for any information that can help.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I attempted deleting and reinstalling the theme, but it didn’t resolve the problem. I suspect there may be an issue with tagDiv license server.
