Thank you, Andrei.
The thing was that I had never installed a child themre, therefore didn’t know where to put it. But that solved my issue, I was putting the child theme inside the parent folder. Thanks again.

Are you saying that there is no way to make the category tags display in the homepage as the themeforest demo shows? With a color for each category?
