When will you fix this bug?
It has been months, however you haven’t added this feature to the theme. I have just wanted to remind you 😉
Support team, help please!
So, please add this feature to the theme in the next update! Using another plugin with this functionality decreases pagespeed and is bad for SEO.
I have the same problem. The problem is especially in safari.
Hello,
Months ago, I started this topics about a problem. You told me that you had added this issue in your to do list and would fix this issue in coming updates. Yesterday, I have updated theme to the last version, however the problem still exists.
There are no alt tags for theme images in “Newspaper/images/no-thumb/td_100x70.png” and “Newspaper/images/no-thumb/td_100x70.png” folders.
Please, fix this issue any more as soon as possible.
You tell me to enable the thumbs from the theme panel, but the problem is that I have disabled thumbs from theme panel as I want a default image to be appeared for the all posts and do not want the theme to create images in different sizes for all images uploaded to my server. That is why I need to use a default image and replaced it in both no-thumbs and thumbs-disabled folders.
Yes, I suggest to add a default alt tag just as you said alt=”no-thumb” or something like alt=”website’s main keyword” if it will good in terms of SEO.
Regarding the width and height, I have changed the image in both no-thumbs and thumbs-disabled folders.
Thank you so much for your interest.

You say “the alt tag is empty because is not recommended by seo to have a different alt for the same image”. So, why didn’t you fix the issue by giving the same alt tag for the same image? By doing this, there won’t be any problem. If you check my website in my profile, you will see that I use a default image instead of post thumbs and another default image for the related post.
I have updated to the version 6.5, but there are still images without alt tag and also these images do not have width-height values, either. Please, check the problem.
But, this is now a feature request. This is a imperfection of the theme. So, it comes before all feature requests and must be done firstly.
I have updated the theme to version 6.4 and saw that theere are still images without alt tags. So please fix this issue as soon as possible. This mustn’t be so difficult to include it in an update.
What I mean is here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/thumbs-disabled-and-the-alt-tag/
Does this update fix the missing alt tags issue?
By the way, the footer logo has no alt tag, either. Please, fix this as well in the next update.
Could you please tell me how to do it step by step?
up…
OK. Thank you. But I would be happy if you could add some options about these changes in the theme panel in the next update. Also, it would be great if we could add adsense ads to the category pages.
I have done the same changes for my website, but it does not show the sub-categories.
Thanks a lot. I have done it.
The demo blog page images do not have alt tags. Screenshot: https://s3.amazonaws.com/fvd-data/notes/175774/1409565612-d4Wu4R/screen.png
I have checked the td_module_blog.php and it is OK. But, my homepage ( http://goo.gl/03ArrE ) images still do not have alt tags. Actually there are alt tags like alt=””. I think these are empty alt tags because I did not entered alt tag info manually. Howevery I do not want to enter alt tag info for each image manually. I want it to be automatic just as the title tag. So, in order to do this, do I have to change code below?
Find this:
alt="' . $featured_image_info['alt'] . '"
Replace with this:
alt="' . $featured_image_info['title‘] . ‘”
@Lucian
There wasn’t h1 tag on blog page at all, but thanks to Emil, I have added h1 and h2 tags to my homepage by editing the index.php file. I would like to build homepage with visual composer, and tried a few times. However, I could not build a beautiful homepage. That’s why I use blog template.
Thank you, Christopher. I use the blog as homepage. I want to put h1 title tag under the breadcrumb, I could not find the related file to edit. So, which file should I edit to add this code?
ı also had a score of 95, but it is 63 at the moment. I checked the score page via http://www.browserstack.com/screenshots and most of the results were 63. You can check the demo here: http://www.browserstack.com/screenshots/ec3421b131dfc23e7753bb5eb4b08d55fc013cad
