I’m really not sure how to find out which template I started with because it’s just a custom template now set to ‘from panel’ , but I will keep digging around to see if I can figure it out.

I am using the “From Panel” template. I arranged everything else the way I like it, and then saved it with a custom template name (“standard posts”).

I just really don’t want it above the big ad on the top of the screen. It would look better above the article.

It’s fixed. The ad’s html had a custom style attribute that overrode the custom css in wordpress. Thanks for the help.

This site is not live, so the only way you can get to it is editing the hosts file on the pc.

I copied and pasted the red text above and it is still showing up the same as it was before. Not sure if it matters, but the ad I placed is a large leaderboard (970×70) — I would attach a screenshot, but not sure how to on this forum.
