Yes, that did the trick.

Thank you very much, Vlad!

I’ve now found the old footer templates by activating The Standard Pack. So it seems that I can get back to the way the footer worked before the update. That’s good.

Any help on how to use cloud templates without having plugins reinsert themselves multiple times would be much appreciated!

Hi Calin,

Thanks for you suggestion.

As I told Vlad I’m using Adobe Fonts via “Typekit.com Fonts” – and I can’t seem to get the method you suggested to work with Adobe Fonts. The font does not appear in the font list when trying to style elements through TagDiv Composer.

I’ve been able to get it to work by adding the relevant Adobe Fonts to the font_stack_list in td_fonts.php – but I’m guessing that’s not the best solution. Would it be possible to include the changes to td_fonts.php as part of a child theme?

Thanks!

Hi Vlad,

I’m already on Newspaper 9.8. And as far as I can tell the 5 options are only available under “Custom font files” – which I cannot use with Adobe Fonts.

I’m using “Typekit.com Fonts” – but this method only provides 3 options for adding custom font families, and would like to have more options.

Could you point me to the files I need to modify to add extra custom font families to “Typekit.com Fonts” (e.g. ‘Custom Font Family 4’ etc.)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Vlad,

I’m using Adobe Fonts – so unfortunately I can’t use custom fonts files. And as far as I can tell the only way to use Adobe Fonts is to add them via “Typekit.com Fonts” option in Theme Fonts.

When using the “Typekit.com Fonts” option there are only three slots to specify custom font families available. I would like to add more.

Is there a way to do that?

Hi Andrei & Bogdan,

I have the same issue. Any news about when this will be fixed?

Cheers,
Janus

Hi Bogdan,

Thank you very much!

I’ll try the plugins you mentioned first. If that doesn’t work I’ll probably try the more complicated method. Thank you for giving some good pointers of where to start.

One last thing: What’s the best way of making a feature request to the development team?

That did the trick 🙂

Thank you very much!

Hi Alin,

Thank you – but I’m afraid you might have misunderstood my last post. I’ve not been able to get the solution you posted yesterday to work. It looks like the additional font weights aren’t being loaded.

Only the standard weights (400 and 700) are being loaded – as you can see on this screenshot:

Thanks for your patience 🙂

Hi Alin,

Thank you for your quick response.

I’ve tried doing as you suggested – but as far as I can tell only the standard weights are being loaded. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s4/sh/f132c35a-ec97-48a9-a589-7f5fb3d20f9f/982bf9644c1ad7df

Since that didn’t seem to work I also tried adding the font weight to td_panel_data_source.php https://www.evernote.com/shard/s4/sh/2c3f7d6c-35dd-423b-9bb3-8f19ef4293b3/e44f24569c7d9e61

Still no luck, I’m afraid…
