See my earlier comment, if this can help you, I found the new location of the files: #post-290454
But I agree that the developers should have provide the info about changes in the new file structure.

I think Catalin means that because of the fact they changed some files paths (single_template_x.php and loon-single-x.php included) we should delete all files and reapply our changes again in new locations.

Well, I think I found it, not tried to check it yet, though.
They moved the files into plugins folder, outside of theme folder.
Here:
../wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/single/

+1 to this question. I had to downgrade to previous version till I figure this out.
I just hope Newspaper team will make our life easier and help with it.

Anyway, if I find solution on my own, I will update here.
