The issue was resolved by adding the gtag configuration directly into the AMP plugin settings. Previously I only had the AMP analytics code only on the Mobile setting under the theme panels.

I just figured it out 😉 I did everything as per your instructions and the documentation but forgot to delete the placeholder Image Ads that come with the theme …

If the place holder images are still linked under the Ad Box, the image overrides the Adsense code:

Maybe it’s a good idea to include that in the theme documentation … it seems a lot of people are asking why the ads are not showing.

I have added the adsense code to the Italy Report Pro template as you instruct but it still shows the placeholder banner.

I inserted the code on the Single and Header templates …

I have the same issue. Google could not find the adsense website verification code on my site.

Following your response to badolhossen22 above, I have now deleted the adsense code from the header.php file (since google could not detect it) and added it to the Analytics section on the Theme panel. Is that all that’s needed?
