Hi Catalin
I’m afraid I just can’t get that code to work at all. It works if I just put it in chrome’s ‘inspector’ but when I actually insert it in custom CSS in the theme panel it does nothing.
Here’s a screenshot of my code: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o2fwr22t32gtjdz/Screen%20Shot%202017-02-05%20at%2011.39.17.png?dl=0
I have even tried to add the code to get rid of ‘More From Author’ completely – it has worked on desktop view but still appears on mobile.
Please, can i send you logins so that you can have a look? My client is getting really fed up and I can’t seem to resolve this.
Many thanks
Lauren
Hi Catalin
I have tried this exactly as you did and it just won’t work on the actual site. I have cleared cache and tested on mobile and it is still appearing as overlappingf off the page? Might I be able to send you logins somewhere secure so you could take a look to see if any other code is conflicting?
The More Stories box – this is what I mean: https://www.dropbox.com/s/avngx2v0hc8xmp0/MoreStoriesBox.png?dl=0
This box pops pout from the right hand side when I scroll down on the earliest news story (Iceland Can Change You) – however, the box doesn’t work/appear on the other two blog posts (e.g this one: http://thedarklordspeaks.com/rogue-one-film-looking/), and I can’t figure out why?
The other issue I have is try as I might, I cannot get people’s gravatars in comments on the blog posts to show up (including the author’s). I have the set gravatar correctly on the gravatar site, I have set it to show gravatars in wordpress settings, and I have even installed the WP User Avatar plugin and tried that way, and nothing seems to work! See here for example of commenyts under the blog piece: http://thedarklordspeaks.com/rogue-one-film-looking/
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
Lauren
Hi Catalin
Thanks for this! Have added that code to custom CSS, but it doesn’t seem to change the font size?
Also any idea on the More From Author Box not showing up on blog posts (except the Iceland one?)
Many thanks!
Lauren
Hi Catalin
I have tried that – here’s the screenshot of the code: http://prntscr.com/dabwf3
The red ‘x’ is that error I mentioned before that says ‘expected RBRACE at line 169, col 1’ but I can’t see what can be wrong?
Is it possible to private message you logins to take a look? I’d really appreciate your expertise as I’m not sure what can be wrong syntaz wise and am really behind deadline now for this as client is wanting to sign off asap.
Many thanks!
Lauren
Hi Catalin
That screenshot result is exactly what I’m after, but even after trying that code in the Custom CSS box in theme panel still nothing seems to be happening?
I have just used a cross browser tester and also tried on a different browser and my device.
Any idea?
Many thanks
Lauren
Hi Catalin
I’ve currently got this code in my custom CSS as per the above but nothing has changed at all on my site?
Also there is a red error message next to the first line saying expected RBRACE at line 162 column 1, any idea what that means?
Cheers!
Lauren

@media (max-width: 767px){

width: 200px;

Hi Catalin
Thank you – I see that it increases the width but it squashes the logo and remains the same height. I would like that whole black bar plus the logo to be double the height at least?
Many thanks
Lauren
