we need to modify the template to be able to show the author name detected by our custom field within the categories on the eastwest.eu website.

For example, within the following category https://eastwest.eu/it/category/gossip-internazionale/, in the central part of the page we have now hidden the author’s name by default and we would like to appear instead the name of the above author.

Could you tell us in which file you need to make this change in order to view the desired author within the categories?

Hi Vlad! Unfortunally I don’t have that function in that path…proably is defined somewhere else?

When I try to override this file I can’t see any changes on my live template. Probably It’s the wrong file to work with. I had best result working on : /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_flex_1.php changing :

if( $hide_author != ‘hide’ ) { echo $this->get_author(true); }

On line 125. What I have to edit to access directly to the $this->get_author() function?
