I followed these instructions and the issue is not resolved. The Facebook link is still linking back to the homepage. I have updated the version of Newspaper, double-checked the facebook link, and used only the default newspaper plugins- same issue.

1) Where do I populate the information for “About Us”?

2) In the main drop-down menu, none of the pages in the menu are working, only post categories. Grrrr.

3) The overall mobile view Newspaper seems subpar now and is VERY disappointing. Why is it not responsive to the overall design of the site? When I first bought Newspaper I was amazed. Now I am dismayed by how limited the mobile view is. What is the use of a great theme if none of the features work on mobile? Very frustrating.

My site does not even have a page titled “About Us”, and when I click on “About Us” in the mobile footer for my site, nothing happens.

I changed the logo. The second part of my question still needs to be resolved:

In the mobile view why does it say “ABOUT US” under the logo, above the social media icons? How do I change this?

While I appreciate your humor unfortunately I have spent hours on this to no avail. I certainly know how to locate files. The issue is that there are several instances of Newspaper on my hard drive. I did download the most recent recent version of Newspaper through WordPress. In total I have spent three hours on this and it defeats the purpose of why I purchased Newspaper which was for it’s plug and play capability as I am not a developer in any way shape or form.

To ensure that I have the new jscomposer file and new newspaper file on my hard drive can you please point to where I can download these files a second time so that I can download them and try this process for a fourth time? The stress of this and my site not functioning is coming to a head.

I appreciate any help I can get.

Ok, I finally found this file, but when I uploaded it and activated… same result, vc not working.

Also, when I go to the Newspaper theme page, and upload VC from there, the problem does not resolve. I have tried to delete and re-install three times.

Thank you for the response and the resources. You have put together a lot of useful material for me to go through, I appreciate the help.

It looks like my category pages are responding to the settings, but my homepage is just one big long list of posts.
