Thank you Anamaria. That was great answer! I was not aware that we can use Tools -> Import/Export. Will definitely help in some projects.

I found a workaround (or maybe the only way).

I just opened both in separate tabs in composer and I am using copy paste row by row. It does the job, just curious if there is an import/export option for the whole custom templates we create also for the moving between various sites.

unfortunately it is not working. The category tag ‘featured’ is shown like in attached screenshots. I am doing this test on a fresh demo install, so you can check at your end.

First i removed the featured category, then added it manually and assigned it to a post. Now it shows in the post single page and in category pages as sibling. It does not behave as hidden category.

i got feedback from person in charge of lazy load plugin:

“So it looks like that script is getting loaded from this file:

wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js

It seems like that file is loading the YouTube iFrame API, which is then loading that widget script.

Is there any options that you have in your theme or that composer plugin to turn off the loading of the iFrame API/scripts?”

Please kindly confirm whether we have any configuration option for that and if not how I can block it in other way? I do not want to impact page speed with forced download of those YT scripts. Makes much more sense to have it on demand when a person actually presses the start button (and then the lazy load plugin will connect to YT).

yes I did that, however the behavior is not like in Newspaper documentation. This category is not hidden and is shown on wordpress frontend for example in categories siblings Newspaper element or on article view it shows two categories (for example food – main category and featured as well).

Should I do something else to make sure it is a hidden category and just used for featuring articles for the purposes of flex blocks?

I do not have this option in the menu Theme Panel -> Mobile. I do not use mobile theme or AMP. I just use mobile layouts from cloud templates.

Should I then just include the code as always in Theme Panel->Custom Code?

Hi Bettina, yes, I’m aware of those default fonts.

However I do not want to use them and do not want to call google fonts for them to avoid not necessary download for users.

I changed all default fonts in the theme panel to ‘Palanquin’ font. Still the site calls for Open Sans and Roboto in the background.

Does it mean that always when using Newspaper theme users will have to download Rboto and Open Sans even though it is nowhere used on the website?

For example I see there social counters CSS, but when I open Social Counter element in the composer, all the fonts are set to default in the element ‘Style’ tab.

yes, that is the standard setup. And it works fine. But if this Fashion category has some subcategories in it, the mega menu will show on the right a column with subcategories names, that you can hover on and see ajax refreshed articles in megamenu from that subcategory.

My question is can I just skip this subcategory list in the megamenu with some css or any other tweak.

Is it right understanding? So in your podcast theme demo when it is just an icon to play it, the files are not on soundcloud?

I set up everything as you mentioned with featured audio and a link to soundcloud. However I can’t achieve the design that is shown in the screenshot in the first post. Instead I get some default audio player with soundcloud logo.

How to just show a minimalistic play button with otpion to style the solor of the icon like in that screenshot?

I think the method you mentioned only works within single opened template during its editing.
