Thank you, I am still not able to add both at the same time. Like ‘post_tag’ do I need to mention post_category for the categories to be displayed?

Also, can you please confirm that we do not need woocommerce plugin to be active on the website to provide membership services with newspaper theme. I am using Town Talk demo.

Simply put, when I open any post from any specific custom category, is there any way to list similar posts belonging to the same custom category? The custom category is created using ACF.

I can display similar posts when the normal post categories are created. But the same is not working for posts appearing under custom category using ACF.

Hi Calin,

Please see screenshot in https://imgur.com/oPLNYIw where I have created 3 different Taxonomies under the Post Types “APPS Listings.” These taxonomies are App categories, App compatibilities and Prices.

In Screenshot 2 here https://imgur.com/tmpaH44 I have listed down different App listings.

In Screenshot 3 here https://imgur.com/q1S7AaI you can see the different categories that I have set under App Categories.

When I open one of the listing in Screenshot 2, there is an option of Similar Application (See Screenshot 4 at https://imgur.com/utZNT75.

Under this Similar Application, I am trying to filter all the App listing with the same category which is currently opened. Eg. if a user has opened a post which is listed under the category “Audio Software” then the similar application should have filters only from the category “Audio Software” and not the entire post appearing under the App Listing.

The response that you have provided above holds good only for normal post category and not the custom category created using ACF.

Hope this is clear now. Can you please guide now on how to display other post under the same category using the Similar Application tab?
