Can I set it up a different way so that the header and footer do show it as a normal page ?

Okay so how do i solve the problem that the file link isn’t there?
I am installing through the wordpress admin and have the file locally saved. has there been a problem with the download ?

Hi I have set up my site as a local host on my own laptop as the aite wont be live for a month or two. Will FTP work in that instance? Thanks
