This turned out to be a problem with Super Cache which I have disabled. Unfortunately, due to TagDiv’s boobytrapping their code, I now suspect the theme of every problem that pops up.

The two articles in question are publicly viewable and can be called up individually from their permalinks:

They appear in the “Latest Articles” tab when logged in, but don’t appear when logged out. The articles that DO appear seem to be stuck from the time I registered the theme to go live on my blog.

I’m pissed off… I spent the better part of Saturday trying to diagnose why the theme would explode with a huge spike in system load after a few hours, only to discover it was due to a boobytrap in the coded in the theme set to go off if the purchase code wasn’t entered. I had purchased the theme weeks ago and would have preferred a warning in the admin screen. Is this due to another such plant that wasn’t properly cleared after I entered the purchase code???
